REFUND/EXCHANGE/CANCELLATION POLICY

Pendleton Community Service Fund (PCSF) is an IRS approved non-profit 501(c) (3) charitable corporation. Its Federal Tax ID is 46-1120543.

PCSF’s mission is to improve the quality of life for enlisted military families aboard Camp Pendleton by,

  • Providing free furniture and houseware for new families;
  • Conducting and supporting morale-building events – Halloween, Christmas, Homecoming, etc.
  • Building and maintaining memorials that demonstrate community support and providing a tranquil place for family remembrances.
  • Providing financial grants for

o Educational support – scholarships, computer labs
o Emergency assistance – cash grants

PCSF accomplishes this mission by soliciting lightly used furniture, housewares, toys and cash for the families of enlisted personnel of United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy. Cash and credit card contributions are used to fund donation pick-ups, family assistance, education, and morale building, aboard Camp Pendleton, California.

We realize that there are unusual circumstances that dictate the consideration of a refund or re-scheduling a furniture pickup. The following reasons for a full or partial refund will be honored within 90 days of the donation.

1. A donor has observed actions that has caused them to conclude that their contributions are not being used in pursuit of the Pendleton Community Service Fund (PCSF) mission as described above.
2. PCSF fails to pick up the furniture or fails to provide the service, as advertised on its website.

So long as we are notified by email at the address below within 90 days of the scheduled pick-up date, PCSF will make a full and complete refund of the donation.

3. A recipient of furniture and housewares has concluded that the free, “as-is” items, that they personally selected at the Camp Pendleton Warehouse were in some respect fraudulently offered and they no longer wish to own these items.

Within 90 days after the items were picked up by the recipient they may return the items to the warehouse where they picked them up without any a fee or further obligation.
